Starting October 21 2025, subscribers to PlayStation Plus Premium will gain access to Tekken 3, optimized for both PS4 and PS5. The release brings back the beloved 1998 PlayStation and arcade classic with enhancements including up-rendering, quick save, rewind capability, and custom video filters.

Launched in arcades in 1997 and ported to PlayStation in 1998, Tekken 3 became a top-selling PS1 title. It added modes such as Team Battle, Tekken Ball, and the side-scrolling “Tekken Force", elevating the entire 3D Fighters genre in the process. This new edition revitalizes legacy titles for modern hardware, offering longtime fans a chance to revisit a key chapter and newcomers an entry into a landmark franchise for the PlayStation era.
