The mode will be coming as a part of a small patch on December 3rd, alongside the new TeamVS, it will include minor bugs and quality of life features for Replay mode, which will show all characters in a TeamVS match, and will have an indicator to show which replays come from Ranked Match.

The TeamVS mode was already in the game before, but had to be removed in 2021 for the sake of stability, back when the game received its rollback netcode update.

If you're thinking of trying the mode out or jumping into GGACPR in general, it's never a bad time. Don't let the lack of big player numbers discourage you.
