The Evo 2025 breakout star becomes the latest addition to a Falcons lineup rebuilding its Street Fighter presence
Team Falcons, fresh from letting South Korean pro, NL, and Chinese star, DCQ, leave, have signed a blockbuster rookie in the person of Hong Kong’s Micky.
Micky's Shocking 2025 Rise
Micky burst into the scene in 2025 when he, at the time completely unknown, took 3rd place at Evo 2025, losing to Kakeru. He has actually been playing since 2023 and having great results but his Evo run put him in the mainstream spotlight.
Since then, he has continued to put up incredible results including a 1st place finish at the 2025 Asian Youth Games, a continental multi-sport event held by the Olympic Council of Asia, and then top 8 finishes at GTW 2026 New Year Championship and Capcom Cup 12 and most recently, a runner up position at DreamHack Birmingham which qualified him for the Esports World Cup.
Micky's Bright Future
Micky is part of a new generation of young players who are setting the world alight and is in company of the likes of Blaz, Craime, Hinao, and many others.
Team Falcons is Micky’s first professional team and he joins fellow Chinese legend, Xiao Hai and Chilean prodigy, Craime in the team which was lacking Street Fighter 6 representation following the departures of DCQ and NL.
With qualification for EWC already secured for Micky, he will set his sights on a spot at Capcom Cup 13, which he’ll have a shot at next month when Evo Japan takes place, to which he is set to compete in.
In Micky, Team Falcons have secured one of the most consistent players in the world, and he has a great chance to succeed with them.
