Takayama Reveals Details About Mysterious Neo Shadaloo Art

With the release of Ed came a deluge of lore from the Street Fighter world that we are all trying to piece together. The most interesting thing to come out of it was some of the art where we saw Ed along with other members of Neo Shadaloo, and in particular two characters that got people talking.

One was a dolphin, and the other was a little baby with psycho powers. Many have speculated that the baby is Ed and Falke's child, but this is unlikely. 

The mysterious individuals in the image have now been revealed by none other than Street Fighter 6 producer, Takayuki Nakayama. According to the producer, the dolphin is Amrita, and the child is called Goliath. 

Takayama also explained that the seven principal members seen in the image: Amrita, Baba Mwalimu, Cypher, Dobermann, Ed, Falke, and Goliath, are a little special and different. What this means is unclear, but with both Ed and Falke being playable characters in the game, perhaps this opens the door to the likes of Cypher, Baba Mwalimu, and Dobermann being DLC characters. 

Ed's story in Street Fighter 6 is intriguing as he is being touted as the new leader of Neo Shadaloo and is a lot closer to the game's plot than any of the other DLC characters so far. 

Ed is currently playable in Street Fighter 6 and is the penultimate character for season one with Akuma being the last DLC to be added to the first season of the game.
