Super Akouma Wins Lyon Major

Lyon Major was a big chance for Vincent "Super Akouma" Homan to qualify for the European Tekken Cup, which will take place this December in Madrid. While the French player qualified for the Tekken World Tour Global Finals, he didn't participate in the European circuit. 

To qualify for the ETC, he needed to get into the top 2 of the French leaderboard. Lyon Major was a Major tier tournament, so big points were on the line. However, even first place didn't guarantee him a spot at the tournament in Madrid. 

That is what actually happened. Super Akouma won the tournament, but the second place was enough for Banbino to outscore his opponent in the leaderboards. Banbino and Ramses34 will be French representatives in Madrid. Super Akouma will focus on the TWT Finals in New Orleans next January.
