Stride Esports Shifts Focus To K-12, Closes Most Current Teams
Another player has left the scene

Esports finds itself in a bit of a difficult position as more and more teams pulling out of the industry with the most recent being Stride Esports who announced that after two years on the scene, they will now be pulling out to focus on esports for K-12 online schools. 

In their statement on social media, they also mentioned that they will be closing down all their tournaments and will also settle any outstanding debts. They also said they'd be closing their Discord chat. 

In all this, players who had signed on for them will now have to find new homes including Twinkies, a Fortnite streamer signed a little over two weeks ago. 

Stride was involved in a variety of games inicluding Super Smash Bros Ultimate player, Esam, who stated that he was quite sad, but was happy for the experience he had there.
