Week later, Street Fighter V store pages and online functionality are still down.
PHP vulnerabilities are still a hot topic, and we recently mentioned that an attack on SEGA's ALL.NET led to many of their arcade cabinets going down, but there are also some lingering effects that might be lasting just a bit too long.
Last week, Capcom notified the public that they will be taking Street Fighter V offline into maintenance mode, and by extension the game was no longer available to purchase from any of the storefronts.
Now, a week has passed, but the game is still offline and on Capcom's end there is no info to speak of as to when it might be back.
While the situation is somewhat different, it's quite reminiscent of when Games For Windows Life service shut down and caused issues for many titles, some of which remains offline or only came back very recently.
That said, hopefully this downtime ends sooner, rather than later.
