Street Fighter League Europe started in stylish fashion with the players out to fight for their team and make it to the playoffs.
There were three games on display and the promise of a match every day:
- NIP vs Reason Gaming
- Guild Esports vs Mouz
- Wolves vs AEGIS
With Big Bird and AngryBird making their SFL EU debuts, there was a lot of excitement and fans didn't have to wait long before they saw them play as Big Bird vs Xerna was the very first match of the season. In a surprising turn of events, Xerna won, which gave his team a very welcome 10 points.
The other games featuring Phenom and the anchor match with AngryBird went more according to type with NIP finishing with 30 points.
The other two matches were a blowout with both Mouz and AEGIS getting 40 points each and considering they were the away teams in both instances, they were very welcome wins.
