Street Fighter 6 Nominated for 3 Categories at Golden Joysticks Awards

Street Fighter 6 has started life in incredible fashion, capturing the imagination of fans all over the world and drawing players from all sides to return to a game that blazed the trail for fighting games all those years ago.

In recognition of the greatness that is Street Fighter 6, the game has been nominated for three awards for this year's Golden Joysticks Award. The annual award goes out to the best game in various categories and Street Fighter 6 has a chance to win in the following:

•  PlayStation Game of the Year
•  Best Multiplayer Game
•  Best Visual Design

As usual, Street Fighter 6 has a lot of competition especially in the realm of best visual design as it has to compete with the absolutely stunning Lies of P, the chart topping, Starfield, along with some other real juggernauts like Baldur's Gate 3. 

Mortal Kombat 1 was also nominated in the best Multiplayer game category along with Street Fighter. The Netherrealm creation only just came out, but has made enough of an impression to find its way into the award discussion.
