Street Fighter 6 Heads Evo Japan 2026 Registration Leaderboard

Evo Japan has become something of the major opening of the competitive year for many fighting games and it returns in 2026 between the 1st and 3rd of May. 

With registration opened since December, about a month has passed, and it is time once again for the leaderboard of games registered for. There are 12 games that have been selected as featured games for the tournament, and leading the pack, unsurprisingly, is Street Fighter 6, which has over 2,000 sign-ups. Considering this is only the first month, one can expect the numbers to grow even more. 2025 saw over 6500 players register for Capcom’s latest big-budget fighter, and with about a third of that number already registered, it is possible that even more than that will come for Evo Japan as the popularity of the game has only increased. 

That said, there is a registration cap at 7168 people, which means regardless of growth, the number of competitors cannot exceed that number.
