Street Fighter 6 Has Sold over 3 Millions Copies Worldwide

Capcom is celebrating a huge success today, with Street Fighter 6 reaching over 3 million units sold less than a year after the game's release in June 2023.  Considering the game's fresh start and the recent overall resurgence of interest in the fighting games genre, it might catch up to Street Fighter V's lifetime figures soon.

For comparison, this puts it just slightly halfway to Street Fighter V's last reported units of 7.2 million units sold. Although that is still somewhat far from Street Fighter IV's 9.7 million and the legendary Street Fighter II's 15 million.
