Street Fighter 6 Has Hit 2 Million Sales

Street Fighter 6 kicked off in grand style on the 2nd of June 2023. It has since then enjoyed some wild success which has now culminated in the celebration of two million copies sold in just over a month.

It has already surpassed Street Fighter V's performance as that game took almost three months to hit 1.4 million sales. 

The good news was announced on Street Fighter's official Twitter account in which they also added that they would be gifting players with a little 'thank you' gift in-game. 

Street Fighter 6 is gearing up to be one of Capcom's most successful releases and considering after the cold reception Street Fighter III received, the company really considered pulling out of the fighting game market. 

Street Fighter 6 still has some way to go to defeat the greatest of the Street Fighter iterations, Street Fighter II, which sold over 15.5 million copies worldwide and was the highest grossing fighting game till Smash took the throne. However, with how popular SF6 is, there is a chance that it could go on to smash the record.
