Street Fighter 6 Drive Ticket and Fight Coins Guide

At this point, you have either been playing Street Fighter 6 for over a month or have heard your friends talk you to death about how great it is, and you want to pick it up to see what all the fuss is about. When you do, you will certainly have a blast. But, when you’ve played around for a bit, you’ll start to wonder, ‘You know, it’d be really nice if I could get the cool colors for the characters and maybe the alternate costume.’ If you aren’t into that, you might have an eye on getting emotes, stickers, or some fancy new gear.

That is when you will see the Street Fighter 6 shop and start having a look around. Once there, it immediately becomes obvious that you will need some money to buy the stuff the shop sells. But, it is not Zenny which is the currency of the World Tour Mode and can be used to purchase all sorts of things from the shops in Metro City and around the globe. 

What you will need to purchase stuff from the shop is something called ‘Drive Tickets’ or ‘Fighter Coins.’ Only when you have these will you be able to purchase anything from the shop.

What Are Drive Tickets and How do You Get Them?

Drive Tickets are a currency that exist in Street Fighter 6 which enables you to buy a variety of things from the in-game shop. Each item in the in-game shop costs a certain amount with alternative colors for characters usually costing around 1000 Drive Tickets. As for how to get the tickets, this is easy enough as all you really have to do is play the game. 

Sure, that isn’t all as there are certain events and stuff that grants you Drive Tickets. One of the most reliable ways to get Drive Tickets is to check the Rewards > Challenges menu in the game. There are usually daily, weekly, and monthly tasks that are waiting for the players to perform in return for rewards. Most of the rewards you will receive are something called ‘Kudos’ which is basically a points representation of how dedicated you are to a character. However, you can also gain Drive Tickets by carrying out the challenges. They are usually simple things like viewing a club, winning a match, and stuff like that.

What are Fighter Coins and How do You Get Them?

Fighter Coins are the premium version of Drive Tickets. Essentially they do a lot of what the Drive Tickets do but can be purchased with real money. So if you have some to spare and you really like some of the outfits or other things you would like to have but you don’t want to spend the time it will take to save up for Drive Tickets, Fighter Coins are your best bet. 

They can be found in the shop. 

This might make Street Fighter 6 sound like many of the gacha games you might have played over time, but it is nothing of the sort. Sure, the currency system does feel that way, but the cosmetics you want to buy do not in any way take anything from the enjoyment of the game.

Street Fighter 6 would still be a great game if you never spent a single Fighter Coin or Drive Ticket. This is because the fights are great, online is pretty impressive and the characters are a lot of fun to mess around with.
