Street Fighter 6 has come under fire over the course of its lifespan over the lack of cosmetic content for the versus and arcade modes while seemingly focusing on the avatar features and Battle Hub.
But that should come to an end following an announcement in which Street Fighter's development team shared some of their plans moving forward for content in the game.
In their statement, the devs acknowledged the outcry for costumes and cosmetics and explained that they have been at work on this since last year but claimed that putting out all the costumes at once was impossible due to the amount of time it takes to make them.
They added that they will be releasing new costumes come summer around the release of the 3rd season of the game.
This will naturally come with new characters.
They also mentioned that they have re-evaluated how they will structure their battle pass releases and promised to add more features to cater to the core fanbase who care more about Fighting Ground.
