Spelunky Guy Is Coming to Fraymakers
Also known as Guy Spelunky.

Fraymakers has just announced their latest free DLC character - Guy! That's right, it's that Guy from Spelunky, one of the most iconic characters among indie games.

As some of you might've come to expect, Fraymakers doesn't suppress the quirks and unique elements of the guest character's original game to make them into a more conventional platform fighter character.

Instead, they once again tried to fit as much of Spelunky into his kit as possible, to a point where it's another character who's basically playing their own game (complimentary).

If you played the games before, you will be intuitively familiar with what to expect. Outside of his classic whip, Guy has access to bombs that you can manipulate for trickier attacks, ropes, jetpack and teleports to defy traditional platform fighter movement, but also use freeze gun, shotgun, spike boots, and his pickaxe for unique attacks and combos.

He's already available in the game, and comes with a sizable patch, you can find the notes below:

General

CPU
· Improvements
    - CPUs now leverage C-stick inputs for aerial moves for improved mobility
    - CPUs try harder to follow up confirmed hits with additional attacks.
    - CPUs now attack more frequently.
    - CPUs no longer empty jump as often.
    - CPUs no longer buffer a double jump when they intended to full hop.
    - CPUs now have a minimum and maximum parry reaction time
    - CPU air dash no longer crashes the game when airdashAccelMultiplier is at or below zero

Gameplay
· Wall Grazing
    - Addressed premature consumption of momentum during wall grazes against the upper body.
· Bug Fixes
    - Fixed bug that could allow buried players to move while in the bury state.
    - Spikes now always pop opponents up when grounded. Previously, some spike angles would send grounded characters to knockdown instead.
    - Fixed incorrect calculation of knockback angle when spiking grounded opponents on slopes.
    - Fixed crash caused when attempting to land while in INPUT_FREEZE status.

    - Added a new menu that allows you to control which stages the random button can select.

    - Now stops charging potion when offstage.

    - Now switches stances when either bar is full.

    - No longer spams double jumps too quickly while recovering.

New Feature: Frozen status
· New data types added for freeze moves (see API changelog for details)

GameObjectStats changes:
· dashSpeed and runSpeedInitial can now be set to null to disable the application of those speeds.
· doubleJumpSpeeds now accepts Math.NaN to disable jump speeds for that entry.

Bug Fixes
· Fixed bug with forceStartHitstop(0) calls being delayed by 1 frame.
· Fixed bug with duplicate stages appearing in custom stage select.
