Soulja Boy Vibecoded His Own Fighting Game
You actually can't imagine how much it sucks.

At one point a fairly forward-thinking music artist, these days when Soulja Boy pops up in the news, it's usually over some sort of scam or other less than admirable reason.

Like the two times he came out with his own consoles, which turned out to be copies of 3rd party consoles, or when he got into crypto and NFT scams.

It seems like game development is another thing he's trying to get into, but of course his wealth is better spent on prompting AI instead paying actual developers and making something creative.

This actually started at least a year ago, with Soulja Boy: Rap Fighters, which was also terrible, but had a slightly different look.

The latest attempt gains another dimension, but it might be the worst fighting game you'll ever play.

Fighting Souja is playable in the browser, and even supports online 1v1 if you can actually find somebody (I couldn't).

It follows a control scheme similar Tekken, with right/left punches and kicks, as well as having early 3D Mortal Kombat style evasion and dedicated block button.

None of it really matters once you experience the actual game and see characters contorting in agony and getting dragged across the screen like some kid is smashing two toys together.

Score a knockdown and you will probably see a t-posing opponent getting submerged halfway into the ground.

The only redeeming quality here might be that Soulja isn't trying to sell it for real money, but that's not exactly worth much when the main menu has a link to buy his meme coin.
