There was genuine surprise when Terry Bogard and Mai Shiranui were announced for Street Fighter 6 as guest characters for the game at the Summer Game Fest back in June.

Now it has been revealed that the collaboration between Street Fighter and Fatal Fury: City Of The Wolves was a two way street as both Ken Masters and Chun li have been announced as guest characters for COTW.

The announcement was made via a short teaser which was posted on YouTube and social media.

There is yet to be any gameplay footage, so it is unknown how Ken and Chun li will play, but it has added another layer of excitement for COTW which comes out next year. Ken and Chun li will be two of the five characters available for Season 1 and will be available in Summer and Winter 2025 respectively. The other three characters are unknown whether they also will be guest characters or characters from the Fatal Fury world.

The announcement has been met with excitement from the FGC and it has been another positive step in what has been a very eventful time in the fighting game space.
