Sherryjenix, Chris Ceglia and Abou Win Cannon Awards At Evo 2024

The Cannon Awards are an annual presentation that recognizes people within the community who have contributed in one way or the other. The winners this year were Sherryjenix, Chris Ceglia and Abou. 

Sherryjenix is well known for her work with EFight Pass which is a program that secures visas for exceptional talent to come to the United States to compete in tournaments such as Evo. Their biggest success remains Arslan Ash who they worked hard to help secure a visa way back in 2019. They also worked with players from Africa, like Queen Arrow from Kenya, to help her make her first Evo appearance in 2023. 

Chris Ceglia does some great work with Ten-o media which is a tournament organizer and digital media company which has supported several events around the world with broadcasts and so much more. 

And Abou is the convener of Ultimate Fighting Arena, the largest fighting game tournament in Europe which holds every year and is constantly on the cutting edge of innovation within the scene. For instance, UFA 2023 was the first major tournament that ran FT3 for the entire duration and they were also an early adopter of PC over console.
