Sergie Mazter Won Tekken Waraq But Couldn't Qualify For TWT Finals

Peruvian Dojo Tier event gathered only 23 participants

In the final weekend of the Tekken World Tour, there were three main tournaments where the faith of nineteen TWT Finals slots was decided. Of course, the biggest of them all was the Thaiger Uppercut, a Master tier event in Thailand. You can learn its results here. But besides TGU, there were two Dojo Tier events: one in Germany, where Tetsu was victorious, and one in Peru, where Sergie Mazter did his best to get in the top 19 of the global leaderboard.

Unlike Tetsu, who had a perfect run, Sergie lost the winners' semi-final to El Motasz. After a lower bracket run, he swept El Motasz twice to secure the first place. Unfortunately for him, Twenty attendees were not even close enough to earn big TWT points. If it was a Dojo 96+ events, then it would have been enough to knock Book out of the top-19, but because of such low participation, Sergie Mazter needs to look for other opportunities to play in the TWT Final Tournament.

As for Tekken 7 Waraq, the Dojo Tier event, its top 8 is as follows:

  • 1. Sergie Mazter
  • 2. El Motasz
  • 3. Sargento
  • 4. Yaquhits
  • 5. AbelDelMaestro
  • 5. Manu
  • 7. MataTopsDeCarton
  • 7. AtomikBoy
