SNK has delayed the rollout of the rollback netcode for Samurai Shodown. The update was planned for September 2023 but has been pushed back to an unspecified date.

SNK will hold a second beta test on PC via Steam in October to continue quality testing. After the beta test, SNK will announce a new release window for the rollback netcode update.

SNK apologized for the delay but wants to ensure the netcode update is high quality before release. Samurai Shodown is available on multiple platforms, but the Switch version will not receive the rollback update.
