Robo KY Set to Join Guilty Gear -STRIVE- Following Evo 2026
Fans got their first tease of the character slated for this summer

Robo KY will be joining the Guilty Gear -STRIVE- cast following Evo.

Fans finally got a teaser for the character in a short trailer, which hinted at his return for the first time since Guilty Gear Xrd.

Robo KY was initially announced back in March as part of the Season 5 DLC lineup alongside JAM.

Robo KY is a character modelled after the original Ky Kiske using battle data. However, the many copies of the machine that were created gradually developed their own individuality, making them increasingly unpredictable. The machines were eventually scrapped, with only one surviving.

He went on to play a significant role in Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator, helping stop Bedman before losing his body in the process.

His last known state saw him existing as a talking head helping Venom run a bakery. His return could mean that he has received a new body, or perhaps this version is an entirely different machine.

There are also questions surrounding his gameplay. Previous versions of Robo KY played somewhat similarly to Faust, acting as a chaotic character who could fill the screen with various objects and effects. He also used a unique gauge mechanic that differed from the rest of the cast. It will be interesting to see how that translates into Guilty Gear -STRIVE-.

More information regarding the character is expected at Evo 2026, but it is safe to say that fans are excited to see him return.
