Punk Reveals His Street Fighter 6 Season 3 Tier List Ahead of Evo 2026
Sagat, Mai and most of the usual suspects are top tier, but where did he place his very strong Ingrid?

2024 Evo Vegas winner Punk has released his tier list for Street Fighter 6 Season 3.

For longtime viewers of Punk, it has become something of a tradition for him to release a tier list of the game's strongest characters, usually before Evo. With Evo beginning today, he shared his thoughts on which characters he believes are currently the strongest and weakest.

Like many professional players, Punk placed characters such as Sagat, Mai, Ed, JP, Blanka, and, somewhat surprisingly, Terry, in his S tier.

He also placed both Zangief and Kimberly in a tier just below the very best, while Lily and Honda found themselves in the bottom tier. These two characters have struggled with representation in the current meta, and many players have long hoped for buffs that have yet to arrive.

Punk was also unable to firmly place Alex, stating that he feels the character is incredibly unpredictable and, while dangerous, not quite strong enough to justify a spot in the top tier. For Ingrid, a character he has been playing frequently, Punk explained that he believes she is B-tier at best, mainly because she lacks the kind of threatening tools that define stronger characters.

Cammy, the character Punk is most associated with, was placed in A tier, two levels below the top. He explained that while she has strong buttons and excellent neutral control, she struggles in a game filled with high-damage characters. He also pointed to her reliance on dive kick pressure, which he believes is not effective enough in the current environment. According to Punk, those factors are what keep her out of the top-tier conversation.

Punk will be competing at Evo 2026 in Street Fighter 6, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, and Invincible VS, where he will be hoping to secure a second Evo title in Street Fighter while also making strong runs in the other games.
