Prime 1 Studio Shows Off New Line-up of Fighting Game Figures
Bad news for wallets worldwide.

If you're not familiar with the world of collectible figurines, action figures, and statues, you might not have heard of Prime 1 Studio. It's a company that built up a reputation of making some of the best figurines out there.

They're typically fairly large (some are nearly one meter tall), and are always exceptionally detailed. From character poses, art styles, colors, materials, and everything else, it's just about as good as it gets. This might sound like an ad, but it's seriously just that high in terms of quality.

The obvious caveat here is that they also cost an arm and a leg, so these are what you might call "premium" collectibles, or just luxury products that are fairly good, but are also so expensive that they mostly appeal to mega fans, hardcore hobbyists and collectors, or people with too much money.

Recently the company had a Next Level Showcase XVI, during which they show off all that you can expect, going from basic reveals to rather in-depth features about more elaborate projects. Among titles like Berserk, Terminator, and Evangelion, we also got a few fighting games this time.

The first is of course Street Fighter 6, featuring the latest Chun-Li design in what feels like even more details than you could see in the actual game.

Next after that is Mai, but instead of taking her most up-to-date version, Prime 1 Studio is going back to a more iconic design from King of Fighters 98.

Finally, they also teased the SoulCalibur VI statue they got in the works. Ivy will be coming some time later, but for now you can see the general form that is yet to be painted.

Check out the video below if you want to watch the full announcement stream where they unveiled these figurines and many others. It offers a much better idea of what they look like than a single image ever could.
