Panda Return With Merch Drop, Discuss Plans For The Future
The organization say they aren't going down

Following their cryptic message on social media a couple of days ago, Panda have announced that they will be selling a line of merch with the name 'Not Extinct'. The phrase is in celebration of their achievement in ensuring pandas were taken off the endangered species list, and celebrate 9 years of existence and work.

They released a statement on their website thanking everyone who had been with them on their journey and recommitted themselves to the growth of the Smash Bros. scene and the larger FGC.

In a thread which they posted on X, they also claimed that they are still a skeleton crew of 9 members and have no plans of onboarding anyone at the moment.

As with a lot of their recent posts, the responses were polarizing with some pleased to make a contribution to them, while others want them to stay gone from the scene.

Panda was established in 2016 and enjoyed a steady rise in popularity at one time becoming one of the top organization in esports. However, a scandal in 2022 which involved allegation of threatening TOs and other infractions, led to an apparent demise, but they might be making a comeback.
