Only The Best V — All Results
Team Spooky
Congratulations to champions in Tekken 7, Street Fighter 6, Guilty Gear -Strive-, Street Fighter III: Third Strike

Last weekend, the fifth Only The Best event happened in Napoli, Italy. Five tournaments, four games and almost $5,000 were distributed to 13 winners. Here are all the results of the event:

Tekken 7 Tournament Results

Only The Best V was one of the tournaments of the Tekken World Tour 2023, so unsurprisingly, a Challenger Tier event gathered some well-known players. Despite tough competition, the home crowd favourite Daniel "Danielmado" Madonia was triumphant. In the grand final, the Italian player swept Jae-hyun "CherryBerryMango" Kim.

The distribution of the €2,000 EUR prize pool is as follows:

  • 1st place — Danielmado — €1,000 and 220 TWT points
  • 2nd place — CherryBerryMango — €500 and 150 TWT points
  • 3rd place — LowHigh — €300 and 100 TWT points
  • 4th place — Super Akouma — €200 and 70 TWT points
  • 5th-6th place — evil46 and chikurin — 45 TWT points each
  • 7th-8th place — Tibetano and RogerMaxis — 25 TWT points each

It is also worth noting that a separate Tekken 7 tournament took place for Italian players. The winner, Sebastiano "evil46" Pezzile, won a quota for the IESF 2024 Finals.

Street Fighter 6 Tournament Results

Almost a hundred players competed for the €1,500 prize pool. Piotr "ShadyImpostor" Mazur had a perfect tournament until the Winners' bracket finals, where he lost to Jérémy "Skyll" Bernard. That loss didn't break the Polish player, as ShadyImpostor managed to make a comeback through the lower bracket to sweep Skyll twice! Here is the top 4 of the tournament:

  • 1st place — ShadyImpostor — €750
  • 2nd place — Skyll — €350
  • 3rd place — yosh — €250
  • 4th place — Sella — €150

Guilty Gear Strive Tournament Results

For SkyllStreet Fighter 6 wasn't the only game he played in the grand finals of Only The Best V. This time, the French player had a close match with Jason Edward "Jetstream" Thomas. Skyll managed to reset the Grand Final, only to be beaten in the full five-game set. The  €1,000 prize pool distribution is as follows:

  • 1st place — Jetstream — €600
  • 2nd place — Skyll — €300
  • 3rd place — Armix — €100

Street Fighter III: Third Strike Tournament Results

Twelve players competed for the €150 prize pool, and it was the perfect tournament for Graziano "Gillstolemyride" Fabiano. No lost games, all clean sweeps — a seemingly easy triumph and €100 for the Portuguese player.  Fabrizio "Wavekid" Villari took home the second place and €50.

Congratulations to all the winners!
