Update 1.4 Brings Team Dynamics and Character Balancing to the Forefront

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2's Update 1.4 introduces exciting features enhancing team gameplay. The addition of Team Attack in rulesets allows players to strategize differently, while Steal Stock Mode adds a new layer of cooperation, enabling players to borrow stocks from teammates. The update also introduces Stock Pool, a shared stock pool for teams, heightening the game's competitive edge.

General Improvements: The update makes significant general improvements. Notably, competitive players can no longer kick others from competitive lobbies, ensuring fair play. Timed mode has been fixed to end correctly at zero, and issues with CPUs getting stuck on edges have been addressed.

Campaign Enhancements: Campaign mode sees critical fixes and enhancements. Bugs causing bosses to die prematurely have been resolved, and offscreen indicators for arena mobs have been added for better awareness. The update also corrects issues with continuing a run from the main menu, introduces power-up category icons for NPCs, and fixes idle animations for characters like Clockwork and Vlad Plasmius. Additionally, the difficulty setting for CPUs in training sessions with Splinter has been refined.

Character Balancing: A host of character-specific adjustments marks this update, ensuring a more balanced and fair gaming experience.

  • Patrick: Fixed issues with slime canceling and rolls, along with adjustments to his Neutral Special.
  • Squidward: Corrected a directional issue with Light Air Back.
  • Ren & Stimpy: Special Forward Car no longer recovers when hurt offstage, among other changes.
  • Raphael: Adjustments to Charge Air Up and hitbox sizes.
  • Donatello: Reduced block pushback and tweaked hitbox positions on Light Finisher.
  • April: Fixed glitches and made changes to Light Forward Air and Charge Air Forward.
  • Danny Phantom: Various fixes and adjustments to Special Up and Neutral Special.
  • Aang, Korra, Azula, Nigel: Each character sees specific changes to their moves and abilities, improving the gameplay experience.
  • Garfield and Jimmy: Fixes and adjustments to their special moves and mechanics.
  • Gerald and Grandma Gertie: Various tweaks to their movesets and abilities.
  • Angry Beavers (Dagget and Norbert): Reversible moves and recovery frames adjustments.
  • Zim, El Tigre, Ember, Jenny, Mecha Plankton, Rocko: Each character receives specific fixes and improvements.
