New Update For The King of Fighters XV Brings Advance Strike Mechanic

SNK's The King of Fighters XV is coming out with a new update on January 30th that introduces a brand new mechanic to the game for free. Advance Strike aims to increase aggressive and proactive gameplay by giving players a way to protect themselves against throws and attacks.

The new mechanic provides players with a hard knockdown on hit, costing half of a power gauge bar and it is recharged both on hit and on blick. Unlike the existing Shatter Strike, Advanced Strike has a counter hitbox for throws in a small window of time.
