New Tekken 8 Trailer Reveals Hwoarang Gameplay

Bandai Namco has unveiled a new trailer for Tekken 8 after a short pause. This time, the developers have presented an updated look at Hwoarang.

This fighter, also known as Blood Talon, debuted in Tekken 3 and has been one of the most recognizable in the franchise ever since, despite regularly changing looks. In combat, this South Korean сompetitor still uses many variations of fast-paced kicks to trap and control his opponent. You can find the first gameplay footage in the trailer below:

Tekken 8 is being developed for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The team has kept the release date a secret, but the fighting game may go on sale as early as 2023. 

According to plans, Tekken 8 is now one of the publisher's most important games in development. The product is described as "to release in 2023 or later", which means it can be presented to the public in the fiscal year 2023, starting after March 31, 2023. Of course, this still leaves a chance for a release window in early 2024, as the fighting game is being developed on Unreal Engine 5 only for the latest generation of PlayStation and Xbox home consoles.
