New Street Fighter Movie Teases Ryu vs. Blanka Scene With FGC Cameos

The latest teaser for the upcoing Street Fighter movie focuses a bit more on combat, showing off a prison encounter where M. Bison sets up a fight between Ryu and Blanka, seemingly with the intent to have Ryu show off what he's capable off, with Blanka being treated as an extremely dangeous inmate.

The teaser itself is extremely short and edited in a way that makes it hard to get a sense of what's actually going on, seemingly focusing more on move references and letting you know that Blanka is played by Jason Momoa.

However, aside from that, many noticed a few cameos from the fighting game community. The first one you'll see 14 seconds in, with Maximillian Dood screaming the signature "let's go!". Another one comes shortly after, at 34 seconds, with Yipes shouting "kill him!" and JWong standing next to him.

Perhaps there will be more familiar faces in the movie, it certainly wouldn't be too unexpected from a work that seems rather self-aware and heavily referential.
