For a small indie title, there is actually quite a lot of content here. For starts, there are 23 characters, 8 of which are hidden, 21 assist, and 3 different play modes – speed, power, and team, all which drastically switch up the gameplay.
This all comes with the expected package of an arcade mode, practice mode, tutorial, and even combo trials. The only thing it does not have is online multiplayer, but you can still square up with local PvP, and it doesn't seem like a big downside for a game that is overtly story focused.
Speaking of that story, this is not one of those games where you just get ending slides. It's a completely fleshed out mode that has 42 chapters, and has a bit of a focus on queer or LGBTQ+ characters, which is a pretty rare combo all things considered.
If this is something that interests you, the game is currently on the introductory sale for just 9 USD, only going up to 10 USD if you don't manage to grab it during the sale period.
