Son Studios, a relatively obscure group of developers have announced and showcased the first trailer for an upcoming fighting game, Saturday AM: Battle Manga.
Set to release in 2026, Saturday AM: Battle Manga, is a 2.5D fighting game with 2v2 combat and Rollback netcode featuring some of the most iconic characters from the Saturday AM roster. This includes Apple Black, Clock Striker, Soul Beat, and Hammer.
There aren’t many details on the ground at the moment, but it looks like it will be a fun game with a diverse cast of characters that will cater to sections of the FGC.
Saturday AM is the brainchild of MyFutprint Entertainment which publishes comics created like manga and feature a variety of characters and stories especially those from up-and-coming creators from a diverse background. It has been around since around 2013 and has over 30 artists and some great, long-running series.
The trailer has been released and looks good and there is a lot for fans to look forward to in 2026.
