MvC: Infinite & Beyond Holds Over $7000 Prize Pool Tournament
Fans have shown great support for the game

Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite & Beyond is a modified version of Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite, a 2017 game that was supposed to breathe new life into the Marvel vs Capcom franchise. Unfortunately, the game received mixed reviews with a lot of players pointing to several issues they had with the game including a departure from the game's classic art style.

In the modded version of the game which was the brainchild of Maximilian Dood and a bunch of people within his community, the game goes back to the proper art style and adds several other features to bring the game into the modern world.

To support the game's launch, Tampa Never Sleep, one of the biggest tournament organizers for the FGC, held a tournament for the game which was completely crowdfunded.

The prize pool reached an incredible $7,510.69 from the event.

The event was won by Stealth, who defeated JonnieA, in the grand final.

Stealth was also really excited about the tournament saying that he had a lot of fun. Maximilian also chimed in stating that over 15,000 viewers went to watch the tournament.
