Mortal Kombat 1 Gamescom 2023 Trailer Reveals New Characters & Kameos

Gamescom 2023 kicked off today in Cologne! Europe's largest annual video game show reopens its doors with the Opening Night Live show hosted by Geoff Keighley.

Of course, today's stream couldn't do without the expected announcements for FGC fans. Among them is the world premiere of the Mortal Kombat 1 trailer, which reveals two more characters in the main roster and two more Kameo fighters.

Ed Boon has presented a new video containing snippets from story cutscenes, confirming the return of the iconic duo General Shao and Sindel as main fighters. Additionally, you can check out the new look of Motaro and Shujinko joining the Kameo roster:

Mortal Kombat 1 will launch on September 19, 2023 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store). Pre-orders receive Shang Tsung as a playable character.
