Maximilian Dood Wins At Streamer Awards
The FGC's biggest streamer got his flowers

The Streamer Awards were held on the 17th of February 2024 and was a night of celebration for all things streaming. The night was won mostly by Kai Cenat who was the streamer of the year. But, the FGC got its due as the legacy award went to none other than Maximilian Dood.

The FGC legend has been streaming since 2007 and is one of the most recognizable names in the space. He was honored on the night and lauded for all the things he had brought to the fighting game scene.

He did lose in a category as he watched Smash streamer, Etoiles, win best FGC streamer on the night. But, this was more than made up for with his iconic win.

Another surprise of the night was Low Tier god given the task of announcing the winner of the best fighting game streamer. LTG is controversial and has been something of a villian within the FGC, but over time has been undergoing some bit of redemption.
