Marvel Tokon Reveals Phoenix Cyclops and Teases Season 1 DLC Roadmap

Phoenix Cyclops has been revealed as the first DLC character to join the cast of Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls.

The announcement was made during San Diego Comic-Con, where Cyclops was unveiled as the first of four characters that will be added to the roster as part of the game's first season. A new stage will also be added at a later date.

Phoenix Cyclops is an extremely powerful mutant who came about when the Phoenix Force split into five, with one of the fragments inhabiting Scott Summers. In the short teaser, Storm tells Cyclops that he will reduce everything to ash, to which he replies that he is strong enough to not lose control while defeating the enemy he has to. This suggests that the Phoenix Cyclops in the game will be the version with the full power of the Phoenix Force.

It also opens the door for a new team, the Phoenix Five, to join the game. They are the five characters the Phoenix Force inhabited after splitting: Cyclops, Emma Frost, Namor, Colossus, and Magik. Seeing as Magik is already in the game, perhaps the name will be modified to the Phoenix Four, as Emma Frost, Namor, and Colossus could arguably join Cyclops to form a team.

Phoenix Cyclops will join the cast this fall.

Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls will launch on August 6, 2026.
