A Bulgarian online storefront may have accidentally revealed details about potential upcoming characters for Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls. The latest Arc System Works 4v4 tag fighter is set to release later this year, and the developers have been steadily showcasing improvements to the game following its two closed beta tests.

Store Listing May Have Revealed Upcoming Characters

The apparent leak came from ozone.bg, a Bulgarian retail website where the game is currently available for pre-order. In the product description listing the game’s features, the page originally stated that the title would launch with “20+ characters including Magneto and Scarlet Witch.”

Neither Magneto nor Scarlet Witch have been officially announced for Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, which immediately drew attention from fans who spotted the listing.

The page has since been updated, and the two characters have been removed from the description. However, the brief appearance of their names has led some to speculate that they could be part of the launch roster or revealed in the near future.

What Their Inclusion Could Mean

Magneto is a familiar face in Marvel fighting games, particularly in the Marvel vs. Capcom series where he was known for his high-speed gameplay and powerful offense. Since Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls uses a different combat system, it will be interesting to see how Arc System Works interprets the character if he does make the roster.

Scarlet Witch, meanwhile, has notably never appeared as a playable character in a major fighting game, making her potential inclusion particularly intriguing. If she does join the cast, her abilities, rooted in chaos magic in the Marvel universe, could translate into a unique playstyle.

So far, the only confirmed team revealed for the game is the Unbreakable X-Men, led by Storm and featuring Wolverine, Magik, and Danger.
