Love them, hate they, try to fix them, don't fall in love with them, these are the women of Street Fighter 6
Street Fighter 6’s success has rest on a lot of things: fun gameplay that keeps you hooked for hours, a strong single-player campaign that keeps the game entertaining even without a player 2, an innovative battle hub where you can meet with all your friends, and even retro games that give you your hit of dopamine.
But, by far the biggest plus for Street Fighter 6 is the cast of characters. Some have argued that Street Fighter relies too much on its world warriors and should perhaps retire them, but this is very debatable as the iconic characters are the ones who bring people back to the game. You won’t see El Fuerte getting a crossover in Fortnite, or Abigail copping a guest spot in a Tekken game.
Even more fascinating are the female characters for Street Fighter 6. Street Fighter blazed the trail in female representation by bringing us the very first woman in a fighting game. They have continued with Street Fighter VI as we have a diverse cast of female characters who are all awesome and have great strengths.
If you are curious about the female characters of Street Fighter 6, in this article we’ll go over every single one of them.

Let’s get into it
Chun Li
The very first of all the female characters, Chun Li is a legend in every respect. First introduced in Street Fighter II, she has been in every mainline Street Fighter game (not Street Fighter III New Generation) and has been a fan favourite forever.
Chun Li is an Interpol agent who has been on the trail of Bison who is responsible for the death of her parents. After Bison’s apparent demise in Street Fighter V, she has now settled in Chinatown as a kung fu instructor and she continues to care for the young girl Li-Fen, her adopted daughter.
As a police officer, Chun Li performed very well, showing superb combat skills, agility, and calm adaptability. She actively investigates criminal activities, fights evil forces, and works hard to maintain world peace.
In real life, there are many outstanding police officers like Chun Li. To recognize their dedication to us, we can give them Police Challenge Coins. Police challenge coins are a special souvenir that is viewed as an honor and a symbol of personal achievement.
Chun Li fights with a ferocity that has earned her the nickname ‘The Strongest Woman in the World’ and going by her achievements, you cannot begrudge her the title.

Weight: Secret
Alignment: Lawful good
Cammy
If Chun li is the queen of Street Fighter female characters, Cammy can be considered the princess (there’s a very strong argument that this should be Sakura, but she is not in the game). Cammy has been around since Super Street Fighter II and is an intriguing character in every definition of the term.
Cammy is cast in the backdrop of a mysterious past and she was taken in by the British intelligence team, Delta Red. Before that, she was a Shadaloo operative and assassin and one of Bison’s famed ‘dolls.’ However, after a confrontation with Dhalsim, she leaves Shadaloo and is now a force for good.
She still retains her skill from her clandestine operations and will knock you out if you mess with her. Played by Kylie Minogue in the 1994 Street Fighter movie, Cammy will always have a special place in our hearts.
Height: 5'4" (164 cm)
Weight: 61 kg (134 lbs)
Alignment: Chaotic good
Marisa
Marisa is one of the new characters that joined the roster in Street Fighter 6. A pankration expert, Marisa is always on the hunt for a new fight. She is also surprising deft with her hands as she is also a jeweler.
Marisa’s love for battle is typified in her meeting with another of the game’s new entrants, Manon, whom she challenges to battle. They find that they are evenly matched and are able to bond over their shared strength.
Marisa is also enthusiastic about romance as she spends a lot of the time on the lookout for a suitable mate regardless of their gender.
Height: 6'8” (203 cm)
Weight: 269lbs (122kg)
Alignment: Chaotic neutral
Juri
Juri Han (I love her full name) is also a pioneer for Street Fighter. Chun li was the first woman, Marisa is the first bisexual female in the game, Juri, for her part, is the first true female villain of the series. Introduced in Street Fighter IV, Juri’s story is a tragic one, but you forget soon enough as she has a rap sheet a mile long and her seductive vibe makes you just hate to love her.
After the death of her parents, Juri is on the prowl for revenge against Bison (man, he’s pissed a lot of people off) and she went as far as to have the Feng Shui engine implanted in her eye.
Juri is sadistic, but as Street Fighter 6 showed, there just might be something salvageable in her.
Height: 5'5" / 165 cm
Weight: 126 lbs / 57 kg
Alignment: Chaotic Evil
Lily
Lily is another of the new characters added to Street Fighter. She is a member of the Thunderfoot tribe, the same tribe that Street Fighter veteran, T. Hawk is from. There has been speculation that the two are related, but there is currently no canonical link between the two apart from their tribe.
Lily seeks to travel the world and see new sights and meet new people. That said, she does seem to have a dark side as we seen in Dhalsim’s arcade story where he senses a dark power lying dormant in Lily which is suspected to be the Satsui no Hado.
Height: 5'3” (161 cm)
Weight: 47kg (103 lbs)
Alignment: Neutral good
Manon
A French judoka and fashion model, Manon is a woman of many talents. She was raised in an aristocratic family where she was hailed as a genius who excelled at everything. Yet, she hated her own strength especially when her mother walked out on her quipping simply that she would ‘be fine’ because she was strong.
Manon didn’t get along well with anyone until she met Marisa who showed her that strength wasn’t a destination, but a journey and Marisa was on a journey to get even stronger. Buoyed by her words, Manon set off on her own journey of strength to surmount the heights she had already reached.
Height: 5'9” (175 cm)
Weight: 129 lbs (58 kg)
Alignment: Neutral good
A.K.I.
The latest addition to the game as at the time of writing, A.K.I. is a protoge of deadly assassin, F.A.N.G. She met the assassin while he was wandering the backstreets of China where A.K.I. was working the red-light district.
A.K.I. was trained in the art of poisons and is only interested in pleasing her master. She is a first as her design is quite different from what you would find for most Street Fighter female characters. She is not attractive in a typical way and this has endeared her even more to fans. Like Juri, she is a villain, but somewhat more unhinged than the Korean fighter. She reminds you of a yandere character in anime.
Height: 5'8”
Weight: 126 lbs
Alignment: Lawful Evil
Kimberly
Fun fact, Kimberly was created to be the replacement for Chun li in regards to being the face of Street Fighter. So, Luke for Ryu, Jamie for Ken, and Kimberly for Chun li. So, she has some big shoes to fill.
Kimberly is a Bushinryu practitioner and a fan of 80s fashion. She is possibly going to be the master of the Bushinryu school. She isn’t the first dark-skinned female in the game as Elena has that distinction, but is the first African American woman in the series. Her uncle was killed by JP and she seeks to know what happened with him.
Her story is sure to go on for quite a while and her fighting style has already earned her quite a few fans.
Height: 5,6" (168 cm)
Weight: 134 lbs (61 kg)
Alignment: Neutral good
Martial arts have inspired numerous popular online slot games, featuring action-packed themes, powerful warrioress, bringing the excitement and discipline of the martial arts world to the reels.
There will certainly be more female characters in this game and we await the characters promised for season two of the game. Personally, it would be really nice to have Sakura and Makoto back in the game. To learn more about these characters, you can check out our character roster.
