Lunar Bout 2023: KoFXV Results

Two qualifying tournaments for the SNK World Championship 2023 Finals happened last weekend. The results of Thunderstruck 2023, which happened in Mexico, are available here. We will talk about the Lunar Bout — the regional qualifier in New York City. Forty-five players were competing for the one spot in the $175,000 final tournament, and it was Christopher "SoleChris" Godina who took first place in a dominant fashion.

SoleChris, aka CoreValues, lost only two games in the winners final to Yurikov, but when it came to the rematch, Christopher left his opponent zero chance. The top 8 of the tournament are as follows:
