The Worlds 2023 peak viewership is almost 14.5 times bigger than EVO 2023 SF6 tournament.
Esports Charts, the platform that gathers viewership data of esports tournaments, published the list of the ten most popular esports events in terms of viewership. Nine positions are occupied by two games, League of Legends and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. Only CS:GO Major in Paris managed to take ninth place.
League of Legends 2023 World Championship broke the record with 6.4 million peak concurrent viewers. For comparison, the peak viewership of EVO 2023 Street Fighter 6 tournament was almost 14.5 times fewer - 442 thousand concurrent viewers.
Street Fighter 6 did not make it in the top 25 games: Fortnite, which is twenty-fifth, had 722 thousand viewers at peak during the FNCS 2023 Global Championship.
