SNK's ambitious mobile game will be going away later this year.
KOF ALLSTAR just announced on Twitter that the game will be reaching its end of service on October 31.
This comes as quite a big surprise, as the game has been seemingly thriving year after year. You could never go long without hearing news about KOF ALLSTAR having yet another collaboration, be it with other fighting games, or even WWE.
As of right now, the sales are already suspended, and they will be accepting refund requests for unspent premium currency all the way until November.
Unfortunate as this situation is, it serves as another reminder that this is the nature of live service games. While some may last for decades, there's never a guarantee that they will stay around forever.
As such, whenever we get into a new game, it's worth keeping the hidden expiration date in mind.
