Hyunjin "JDCR" Kim was just eight years old when he first visited the arcade and became passionate about fighting games. At the age of 20, JDCR started entering local tournaments, and by 22, he had won a regional qualifier that would allow him to compete at a major tournament in Hong Kong. The player has so far managed to maintain a genuine interest in the challenge, as evidenced by his reputation in the competitive scene. The South Korean player is well known as one of the legends in the latter part of the decade.
