Katsuhiro Harada: "My Studies Of Accessibility Introduced In Tekken 8"
SJS | Gatterall
There will be many options for color blind people

While the community eagerly waits for the Tekken 8 release, its demo version brings different food for thought. Some players thoroughly study the four available characters, while some people look into other aspects of the game.

Gatterall published a post on his X (ex-Twitter) account with admiration for the possible accessibility options for colour-blind people."Literally no game has done this."

Katsuhiro Harada noticed the tweet and also left a comment: "I have developed and tested “an accessibility version of TEKKEN 7” (albeit not for sale), several years ago. Those studies have been introduced into this version of TEKKEN8." He also provided the presentation video of this Tekken 7 build.

Such a huge variety of filters in the game can visually help different people to play without trouble, which is truly an outstanding feature. Will other game developers apply a similarly thorough system? It will be interesting to see.

Tekken 8 will be released on Xbox Series S|X, PlayStation 5 and PC on January 26. For more news about Tekken 7, Tekken 8, Tekken World Tour and other competitions, visit our news hub.
