Legendary Fighting Games player and creator JWong claimed a major win today, or least a major bag of bragging rights. Promoting Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics, a short showcase was made between him and Yipes. The eventual winner, of course, was already known.

For some added context, it's important to highlight just how dominant JWong was during the Marvel vs. Capcom era of completion, Evo included. In a streak that started in 2002 and ran through to 2010, Justin finished in the top 4 in the competition. Even after 2010, when the title fell in Evo's favor, he continued to dominate, never going below 4th in major competitions. The showmatch today may have not been one of the prestigious brackets of a decade ago, but it is a glimpse at just how dialed in he is to this game.
