Fresh off the recent Closed Alpha playtest, Invincible VS still has plenty more to show, or at least it will on December 11 when The Game Awards start rolling.

It's not entirely unusual for licensed fighting games to add their own original characters or variations, but it seems like a rather daring move on the part of Invincible VS, since people already have plenty of favorites from the show and comic that haven't made their way into the roster.

With that said, fans should still be happy with this one, since the people in charge of this character are Robert Kirkman and Cory Walker, the comic's original writer and illustrator respectively. It would be quite bizarre if this new addition doesn't fit in with the others, and the direct involvement should guarantee some level of narrative weight here that fans can sink into.

As a reminder, Invincible VS is still to launch some time in 2026.
