Invincible VS is back again, and not with one, but two character reveals at once. The game's roster expands with its 12th and 13th characters, the duo of Viltrumites – Anissa and Lucan.

The gameplay shows a bit of their gameplay, with the two taking a unique approach to fighting while being equally brutal and surprisingly gruesome.

Almost like the now iconic Ornstein and Smough duo, Anissa and Lucan specialize in different areas. Anissa is all about speed and precision, with surgical strikes and the ability to zip around the stage to get in on her opponents. Lucan is far more direct, slamming into and plowing through his opponents. The two have an obvious synergy with how they function.

If the pattern of releases continues, we might see a slightly more in-depth look at these characters some time later, with developers diving into their storytelling, characterization, and how it translates into their moveset.

As a reminder, the game will be launching on April 30th, 2026, with a roster of 18 characters total, so there are quite a few characters that should be revealed in the coming months.
