Indie Fighting Game Battle Queen Now Has a Steam Page
Core values, but with a caveat.

If you've been active on social media, you might have seen glimpses of Battle Queen now and then. It's a traditional 2D fighting game coming out of South Korea that has been in development for quite some time now.

And if you've seen this game, you most certainly notice some things that it shares with Dead or Alive or Rumble Roses. The major selling point of Battle Queen is obviously the way it leans into fan service, though it seems there's a genuinely good combat system underneath all of that for those who care.

Though there is one caveat here, from the Steam's store page:

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

Programming: All core game logic and mechanics were manually coded by the developer. AI tools were partially utilized only in the later stages of development to assist with network infrastructure and CPU opponent processing.

Graphic Assets: All characters and primary combat environments were created manually. Generative AI was used exclusively for distant background scenery to add environmental depth without affecting the main visual assets.

Something to keep in mind if you consider getting this game. While AI use in programming has been a less contested topic even among people who are otherwise strongly against AI, the use of GenAI for art tends to taint the entire thing regardless of how it was used.
