If you're not into the "retro" scene, it might blow your mind, but this SEGA console, which you might know as either Genesis or Mega Drive, has continued to get new games as recently as 2025.
For some reason, indie developers have a real fondness for this powerful, yet still severely limiting console. The newest example of this love comes from the fighting game scene, specifically the indie fighting games.
Pocket Bravery, developed by the Brazilian Statera Studio, is getting ported to Mega Drive through the efforts of RheoGamer. There are some concessions visible in the preview, but who cares? This is still so unbelievably cool, to think that this is even possible, and that someone is actually doing this.
It's not clear if or when this would be complete, but the progress seems great, and the people behind this are extremely capable.
