Rivals of Aether II will be part of the upcoming Steam Next Fest, a PC platform demo show in which developers release demo versions of their upcoming titles for players. The twice-yearly event has drawn hundreds of thousands of players so far, and the successor to Rivals of Aether will be one of the titles available to play.

Coinciding with that, renowned Smash player Hungrybox will run a $2000 USD bracket open to everyone this coming Wednesday.

The bracket in question has already attracted over 300 players. With a 6 PM EDT start time and a top 8 payout, there is an expected overlap of some of the platform fighter's most notorious talents from Smash, Brawlhalla, MultiVersus, and more.
