Even small events play role
The Tekken World Tour 2023 has an interesting structure: to fully utilise it a player must compete in at least one Master+ tier event, two Master tier events, three Challenger tier events and four Dojo tier events. All TWT tournaments may have their impact.
This week, Core Gamer Treff TWT Dojo Event 3 happened in Monchengladbach, Germany. Among its 17 attendees, there were three highest ranked German players: Tetsu (current #20 in TWT), Sephiblack (#21) and HK Jr (#30).
If Tetsu had won this tournament, he would have moved up to 19th place, which guarantees a spot in the TWT Finals 2023. Unfortunately for him, it was the moment of triumph for the FaZe Clan player. HK Jr. lost only three games throughout the whole tournament, with two of them — in the grand finals against Sephiblack. Tetsu finished only third.
The Tekken World Tour Finals 2023 is scheduled for next January, and there will be opportunities for all three players to earn more TWT points, so we're looking forward to more great events.
