Hideo Kojima is arguably the most influential man in video games and with 30 years of experience and some of the most remarkable achievements in the industry, this is a well-deserved title.

The Metal Gear Solid creator was a long time pillar at Konami who made the Bloody Roar games, before he left to create his own company.

Kojima was at The Game Awards where it was announced that his upcoming documentary, Hideo Kojima: Connecting Worlds will be exclusively available on Disney Plus in Spring 2024.

The movie follows Kojima through his creative process along with a look into his company, Kojima Productions which is located in Tokyo, Japan.

The documentary stars the likes of George Miller, Guillermo del Toro, Norman Reedus, and Shinji Mikami. It debuted at the Tribeca Film Festival, and it promises to be a fascinating watch for all those who love the man and the things he has created.

Kojima also took the stage to announce his latest collaboration with Xbox games on a project known as OD. From the trailer, it is impossible to really explain what OD is, but Kojima promised that it would be like nothing anyone had ever seen or experienced before.
